Welcome to the web site of the Chichester Bowmen.We are a large archery club in West Sussex with archers ranging from beginners to World Masters Games double gold medalist.

November 15th – saw the planting of the community orchard in Oaklands park and our new chaiman Stuart Champion supported by Neil Sampson helped in the planting of the new tree.

Chichester travelled to Newhaven Sunday 21st July for an away Albion league match against both Newhaven and Friars Gate archery clubs, with good weather and some good shooting Chichester won comfortably beating nearest rival Friars Gate by some 250 points.

This now means that Chichester are unbeaten in Division 1 this season.

The 2011 Spitfire challenge between Chichester Rifle Club and the Bowmen took place on the 30th July 2011 – this is the 3rd year the clubs have met to compete for the Spitfire trophy. As in prievious years this was a great event and enjoyed by all who took part, in the end Chichester won by 40 points, better luck next year rifles…. Check out the photos in the Album Pages
